I don’t know… maybe it was because of the reverence of Anne Hathaway, but whatever it was, this strip took an inordinate amount of time to create – both from the artistic sketching to the final gradient and coloring of the strip. Just one of those times when I was struggling to get in to a good “artistic zone”.

Now, that being said, that whole “reverence of Anne Hathaway” line is said a bit tongue-in-cheek as I think there are times when Anne looks really great and other times… um, not so much. Obviously, she changes her looks quite a bit depending on whatever role she takes on. In that regard, we all saw what Christopher Nolan did not only with The Joker but also Two-Face as well so I am definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of take they will have for Selina Kyle.

It is curious that they aren’t actually calling her “Catwoman” though so I think it’s safe to assume Anne won’t be squeezed into anything remotely resembling ripped leather. 🙂
