Filler Time – #501
So you finally reach the peak of 500 strips, and what do you do? You make a filler strip.
Actually, there’s a bit more involved in that but suffice to say, just a lot on my plate right now and the real bread & butter job comes first. If it doesn’t, then I can’t continue Capes & babes and none of us wants that. So, I just needed to take a little bit of a mental break here. As Roy says, I’ll try to get re-charged over the weekend and come back stronger with strips featuring my friend and fellow podcaster, Matt Stout as well as featuring a strip about the “death” of Johnny Storm. How could I not?
Also, another reason for the filler today is all last night, suddenly Google wouldn’t accept my Gmail account password. I’m not sure if my account has been hacked or what but I Google won’t accept my password and tells me I have to wait 24 hours before they’ll give me access to my “secret code word” that will allow me to get in and change my password – if, indeed, it has been hacked. That seems pretty odd to me as it gives hackers 24 hours to do pretty much whatever they want with your e-mail while you are powerless to do anything. Needless to say, it’s been a pretty stressful and aggravating night. Hopefully, that will all go away when I have access to my “secret code word”.
If not, I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Maybe this is a sign that it’s time to actually get a “real” capesnbabes.com e-mail address and use a REAL e-mail client like Mail or Outlook. We’ll see…
