So, apparently, there was a Chinese peacock in Kung Fu Panda II that talked with a British accent. I haven’t seen the movie yet but my daughter did. For the most part, she said she enjoyed the movie but she couldn’t stop complaining about the Chinese peacock having a British accent. And thus, today’s comic was born.

Some big announcements…

I wanted to mention a few things that are on the horizon…

1) I will soon be moving Capes & Babes to a new host. Hopefully, the transition will be smooth and without difficulty. But if you should start to see some odd things with the site, it will probably be because I’m in mid-transit to the new host. But again, hopefully, you won’t notice a thing.

2) Baltimore Comic Con is just around the corner. As such, I would like to get a head start on offering pre-con sketches. The Interviews mini-comic was a HUGE hit at Heroes Con and the VA Comic Con but I need to get some more printed up for the Baltimore show but due to the fact we had to have a couple of huge trees cut down in our front yard, my Capes & babes funds are a little low. So instead of asking for donations (that never works, does it?), I’m going to be offering a sale on commission sketches.

Here’s the deal… instead of coming up with a joke to accompany the sketch (sometimes that’s the hardest part), I’m just going to be offering straight up, “traditional” pin-up style sketches done in my usual cartoon style. And I will be offering a couple of different options. Here they are:

Sketch Cards (full color): $5.00

Pencil sketch commissions (9×12″): $15

Inked commissions (9×12″): $20

Inked and colored commissions (9×12″): $25

All shipping and handling for every item above is free. If you would be interested in any of the above, send me an e-mail at capesnbabes [at] gmail.com and tell me what you would like and what character you want me to draw. These prices are for a limited time only
