Still experimenting with doing the strip all digital on my iPad.
As I mentioned before, there’s lots of things I like but there are other things that bug me in terms of the overall look. The next step might be to sketch the strip out on my old bristol board templates, scan the strip and digitally ink everything. I don;t know though… the whole point doing the strip digitally is to speed UP the process… not slow it down.
Yesterday, it was recommended to me to check out an iPad app called Comic Life. It was only $10 so I went ahead and bought it since the app does have a comic strip template. But thus far, I found some of these things I want to do with far less intuitive than Procreate is. But it could also be that I am so used to Procreate, I keep wanting Comic Life to act the same way and it’s a completely different app designed for a completely different purpose.
So, the experiment continues, I guess…
