Did this one for all the artists out there that have EVER received an offer of “Exposure Payment”.
And, as the famous saying goes, “people have died of exposure”. Artists should NOT be the exception to that rule – but yet, it’s amazing how many people expect artists to just accept “exposure” as a reward or payment.
And “artists” include all types of creators: fine art, cartoonists, painters, musicians, crafters, carpenters… anyone that creates any kind of something out of thin air.
Just a little artistic soapbox for the day.
