A message from Roy…
In every election, there are going to be hard feelings on one side and elation on another. If you have voted as many times as I have, chances are,m you have felt both feelings at one time or another. In the next several weeks, there’s going to be enough people saying a whole lot of stuff one way or the other.
For me, personally… I would just say this: Yesterday morning, I stood in line for 90 minutes in order to cast my vote. It’s the longest voting line I have EVER stood in. The odd thing is though, I don’t think that was such a bad thing.
That’s one of the main reasons I decided to let Roy have the last word instead.
Well said Roy! I for one voted straight ticket, Brown Bear Party. Our platform called for 3 extra weeks of hibernation and lower taxes on domestic salmon production. Plus, if Yogi gets elected, he’s promised clemency on prior picnic basket convictions.
Well said. I wonder how many armchair pundits don’t bother to vote.
And for what it’s worth, at 6:30pm last night I was in and out in a New York minute, after I spent the day considering I might be “too busy to vote”.
Bravo, Roy and Chris, well said.
Which party does Roy support- the GROWL supported one or his own choice?
The state of Nevada has Early Voting, so for 2 weeks before Election Day, one could cast a vote at one of many sites around town (as I did). It certainly cuts down on lines for Tuesday!
What! There were humans running for office? How did I miss them? I knew about the werewolf, the vampire, the zombie, and the candidate definitely not from this planet. But a human?
