#851 – Brackets – Brackets – Brackets…

I wanted to let you guys know about a couple of shows I am doing in April… the first one is next weekend and the second one is a few weeks later at the Washington DC Convention Center – practically in my backyard! But first, a little bit about where I will be next weekend:
Comic Geek Speak Super Show – April 6 & 7
I wanted to go to the Comic Geek Speak Super Show last year since those guys do a terrific podcast, but alas, I heard about it too late and all the slots were filled. I understand it’s a great show and I’ll finally get to meet one of my teenage comic book idols (and a big inspiration behind Marc’s interviews), Fred Hembeck! Really looking forward to that!

Awesome Con DC – April 20 & 21
The show is being run by my good friend, Ben Penrod who ALWAYS puts together a great show – whether it’s a one day or two day show. I know this is the biggest event Ben has ever put on so far and – from what he tells me – if you listen to DC 101, you should soon be hearing radio spots for the show.
I’m excited not only because Ben is putting on the show but also because it’s at the Washington DC Convention Center! That’s going to be a LOT of fun!
