Capes-n-Babes

I’ve mentioned on Facebook and a couple of other places that Volume Three of the collected Capes & Babes strips will be called THAT’S Why You Can’t Print FLICK! And for this edition, I have asked some of my favorite webcomic friends if they would like to contribute to the third volume by sending me in their version of Roy doing anything they want to draw him doing.

I asked those artists if they could e-mail me their Roy illustrations by the end of March or the early start of April as the goal is to have some of them printed in time for Heroes Con in June with a Kickstarter campaign starting up right after that.

Well folks, some of these Roy illustrations have started popping up in my in-box and I have to say…

THEY ALL LOOK FANTASTIC!

If you’re an artist that’s a fan of Capes & Babes and would also like to participate in this project, here’s what I have been asking my friends to do:

Subject: Draw Roy doing anything you want – in your own style.
Size: It must be able to fit within 8×8″ as that is the size of the book
Specs: It must be high resolution (300dpi or greater)
Format: I can convert most any formats but the easiest tio deal with are PSD, EPS, TIFF or PSD files
Colors: It must be in black and white or greyscale. I can also convert the piece in to greyscale if you only have a colored version.

Then, along with your piece, please e-mail me a very brief and small bio of yourself as i will be including the bio on each illsutarted page I feature in the book.

I also wanted to let everyone know, as a sign of appreciation for contributing, I will send every artist a PDF of the finished book once I have it completed.
