658 – Costume Confession…
Personally, I don’t know what Joey is complaining about. I had been looking for a full body Angry Bird costume for a couple of weeks now and every place I went, there were none to be found. Seems to me, instead of laughing at them, the “folks” at Badger’s party will be QUITE impressed with Marc and Joey’s costume. We’ll have to wait and see.
In the mean time, another reminder before Sunday…
I will be at Comic Fusion this Sunday from 12-6. I’m really looking forward to the event as it will be my very first appearance ever in New Jersey. And I’m even MORE excited about a little something I’m bringing to Comic Fusion as well… THIS little beauty:
It is a FUJIFilm JX 310. I just bought it on Wednesday (along with my Captain America Blu-ray). Before purchasing it, I did do a lot of research on the camera and asked a bunch of questions. But still, I would be interested in hearing if anyone else out there might own a FUJIFilm JX 300 or 400 series camera and, if so, how do they like it?
This Sunday will be my first test of the camera so I’m excited to see how it works under “convention-like” settings since that’s primarily why I bought it. I was tired of going to conventions and taking what looked like great pictures on the cameras I had been using, only to get home and discover they were either blurry, too dark, too light or just didn’t look as well as they did on the various camera’s tiny little view screens.
The FUJIFilm JX 310 looks really nice and the shots I took in the store looked great but I’m really anxious to “test drive it”. So, hopefully, when I get back from New Jersey, I will have a ton of great pics to share with everyone.
