636 – Killer Entry…
Today’s strip guest stars Stacy Korn, manager of Comic Fusion in New Jersey – specifically 42 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. You can call them at (908) 788-0599 too!
I met Stacy at the Baltimore Comic Con last month and got a chance to talk to her quite a bit. In fact, the Wonder Woman illustration that’s a part of my new Commissions ad (see below) will be donated to Stacy’s “Wonder Woman Day” in which the proceeds all go towards helping to fight domestic violence. There are a lot of different causes out there these days but I think we can all agree a cause that is trying to bring an end to all kinds of domestic violence is a good one and worthy of our time and attention, so I hope you will help support her event on October 29th and 30th next month!
I also want to thank Stacy for allowing me to have a little fun with her. It was a little tough at first trying to find a way to poke a little fun at such a great event while also honoring it at the same time. Talk about an incredibly tight and very small tightrope to walk! Hopefully, I did that with today’s strip.
To paraphrase what the hover text says, I’m sure Roy could make even Gandhi so irritated that HE’D resort to some kind of violence just in order to get rid of that furry werewolf.
But on a serious note, Domestic Violence is, sadly, all too real and we should do everything in our power to eradicate it from our lives no matter if you’re a woman, child or man. So please find out more about “Wonder Woman Day” and help stamp out this all too real problem.
