Today’s title is one of those titles that can work on multiple levels…

First, it deals with what is actually going on in the last panel.
Second, it references Roy’s dialog to Marc.
And third, it references what is actually going on in the strip – hopefully, it’s obvious.

My “big idea” was that for today’s strip, I would have Roy walk Marc back through Monday’s strip and, quite literally, show him the point Marc obviously missed. Sometimes though, when you do an “experimental strip” like today, the vision you have in your head is so much better than what you might end up with. That’s sort of what happened today once I started to create the “effect” of Roy and Marc walking through the panels of Monday’s strip.

This would probably look so much better animated since I wouldn’t have to deal with word balloons. That was the one thing that kept tripping me up… word balloons on top of other word balloons. That made the strip incredibly hard to read – no matter what kind of adjustments I made to it.

But like a lot of experiments, I had to keep trying different techniques until I got at least a facsimile of what was in my head. Today’s strip comes pretty darn close so I hope you guys enjoy it. It took QUITE
