Capes-n-Babes

As the title says, here is another full-color guest strip Donald Poquiz sent to me when I made a public blog post stating that I was always looking for guest strips if people wanted to send me something. Well, Donald did. But through a series of circumstances, he couldn’t send me all three of his color strips at once. He sent the first two pretty fast, but this particular strip got a bit delayed and I couldn’t run all three in succession.

But as it turned out, that was actually a good thing.

As many of you know, this past week has been an incredibly trying and stressful week for my wife as she had to say her final good-byes to her last surviving parent on Saturday – her father. Our house also served as the de facto hotel and reception area. In fact, my studio this week became the place of excess storage items so there would have been no way to do a strip even if I really wanted to (which I didn’t).

Instead, after “Pops” funeral on Saturday afternoon, many of my wife’s relatives, friends and anyone else who wanted to stop by
