Capes-n-Babes

This is going to be a rare back-to-back posting of two Capes & Babes strips. Come back tomorrow (Friday) to see part 2.

This is based on a real-life event featuring my friend and (after tomorrow) former co-worker, Laure Hilton. Lauren and I have worked together or known each other for close to five years now. So when a funny event happened between us as we were working via Skype, I couldn’t let a situation like that go to waste! But for anyone who knows me – or might know Lauren – rest assured that this “funny event” wasn’t nearly as crazy as I have exaggerated in these two strips. Trust me.

But hey, when it comes to my friends, you never know what type of “inspiration” they might provide for the strip!

And I asked Lauren what kind of monster she wanted to be and she said “Zombie” so she gets to be depicted as a “sexy zombie”.  😉

I will have a longer post tomorrow about my current job situation. As it turns out, everything worked out great and I start a new job on Monday in Washington DC again.
