#1028 – New Act In Town…
A few days ago, I had a crazy little Jeff Foxworthy-inspired “You might be a comic book geek or nerd…” idea and posted it on Facebook. I added a few examples and then asked people to contribute their own ideas. The results I got were really great and so in the next few strips, you’re going to see some of those ideas come to fruition. I will also be giving credit to the individuals who’s ideas I feature in the strips as well.
As far as “Jeff Howlworthy” goes… seems kind of appropriate for a werewolf stand-up comedian, doesn’t it? Also, for inspiration on the character’s look, I specifically searched for pictures of Jeff as a young comedian and he actually DID have a mullet. Hey, it was the 80’s and 90s… I guess every stand-up comedian back then had a mullet. Even some women… especially Ellen.
Look it up. 🙂
PS: Thanks to Facebook reader, Rognvald J. Dandy for pointing out that in the third panel, Marc was saying “I should could…” when he should have actually been saying “I SURE could…”. The strip has now been corrected – which is not an easy thing to do when you hand letter everything. 🙂
