#1026 – Pitchfork Ownership…
Because we ALL purchase our pitchforks at a local pitchfork show, don’t we???
As far as the third panel of today’s strip goes… you’ll just have to keep reading.

“The Pitchfork Loophole”. Sounds like either a killer bar or a great name for a rock band.
HA! That WOULD be an interesting name for a band, Captain.
As an aside, the laws requiring documentation of firearm sales do not change for a federal firearms licensed dealer (FFL) because of location, venue, or whether he’s selling from his business inventory or personal property. The so-called “gun show loophole” only refers to those who aren’t selling guns.
Ahhhh Arkanabar, you’re right but you’re also taking this strip too literally. We’re not talking about the sales of firearms here. We’re talking about the sales of PITCH FORKS.
And, unfortunately or not, the legalization of selling of pitch forks in the Capes & Babes universe differs GREATLY than the sales of fire arms in the real world since we don’t have to worry about vampires, werewolves or other such monsters…
A pitchfork does you no good if it’s locked up when you need it. I sleep with mine under my mattress, if there’s a mob forming in the middle of the night, it’s right there.
tmechanic… You are exactly right but given the fact that Marc is friends with lost of werewolves, vampires, zombies and other monsters, I believe he keeps HIS pitch fork locked up more for THEIR benefit than anything else. He’s not the one to keep things like a pitch fork in open display because he knows it might make his monster friends uncomfortable.
Also, thanks for reading the strip and adding a comment as well. Much appreciated.
