#943 – A New Voice…
A couple of things about this strip:
If you follow me on Facebook, I mentioned last night (Thursday) that I would be introducing a new character in today’s strip. That character is the hippie mummy in the last panel.
I REALLY like how the colors came out on that last panel.
Seeing how I have an Alien, a zombie and werewolf and a vampire in the strip, I thought it was time to introduce a mummy as well. With the except of the Monster Babies that appeared in the first two years of the strip, I had never drawn a mummy in the strip before. It was time that I did. Why is he a hippie? You’ll need to keep reading to find out.
I got a self-satisfied chuckle over the fact that the rich vampire in the third panel refers to werewolves as “Godless creatures”. That couldn’t be an analogy of all the hypocrisy going on in today’s politics, could it? Nooooooooo. I would neeeeeeever do something like that. Right?
