559 – Guest Speakers…
Hey folks, I’m still juggling a bunch of freelance projects at the moment but didn’t want to leave you all COMPLETELY high and dry. I came up with this silly little cartoon while driving home today.
This is just a silly little one for all of my Dr. Who friends that are out there (you know who you are). I might have another Dr. Who themed strip on Friday as well before I launch into Roy’s adventures at Heroes Con 2011. I’m really excited about that because it will feature one of my really good fellow web comic friends, Stephen Burks from the web comic, Our Last Gasp.
I’ve known Stephen almost from the very beginning of when I started going to conventions and shows. I would always see Stephen and his web comic partner in crime, David, hanging out and selling their awesome looking book. I hadn’t seen them all of last year until I was at Baltimore. And I saw them again at Heroes Con and then the following week at the one day, Virginia Comic Con show. So it’s great to see them back out doing the “con tour thing”.
Hopefully, Stephen will like his infamous debut next weekend. I already sketched his caricature so I’m itching to put the rest of this storyline in strip form – but I gotta do a Friday strip first. So Stephen, I’ll see YOU on Monday – or, rather, the CARTOON you anyway.
