Okay, with all of that being said, when I was a wee little laddie, I grew up reading old Avengers comics so if I REALLY had to pick a favorite bow slinger, it would be Hawkeye, hands down. But later on, as I grew older, I was exposed to Neal Adam’s Green Arrow / Green Lantern series and really dug Oliver Queen in that as well.
But THEN… flash forward to my high school/college years and not only does Hawkeye have a terrific mini-series of his own which spawned his new and current costume but Mockingbrid becomes a part of his history too!
And not too much after that, Mike Grell does his own fantastic take on the Green Arrow slinger in a prestige format that had some absolutely mind-blowing colored pencil work in it.
So, who is the better bow and arrow slinger?
I’m gonna let YOU guys fight that out. I like both of them!
