Honestly, I have no idea where these things come from or why I find it so easy to find humourous things about Grade B, C and D characters. Hopefully, that doesn’t say anything about me, but if you liked today’s strip (and I hope that you did), please tell your friends about it or pass it along to whomever else you might know that will think it’s funny.
I really appreciate all the kind words of congratulations everyone gave me last week here, on Twitter and on Facebook about hitting 400 strips. My hat is off to all of you. Thanks!
On another couple of items, I was in a local comic book store today and picked up Avengers: Academy and Age of Heroes – both of which featured Taskmaster. In Avengers: Academy, there’s some speculation that Finesse might be Taskmaster’s daughter since they share similar abilities and her background is very mysterious. I always thought it would be pretty cool to see a child of Taskmaster’s – only on the side of good. I doubt this is what might happen… the cool things Marvel COULD do with Taskmaster tends to be ignored.
Yet, on the other hand, Age of Heroes has a two page prelude to the BRAND NEW TASKMASTER #1 THAT WILL BE DEBUTING IN SEPTEMBER. Okay, okay… so I’m a little excited. So sue me, okay?
