Capes-n-Babes

Sometimes, you never know where ideas are going to strike but as I have said on the Lightbox – Illuminating Webcomics podcast I record with Matt Stout, you have to be aware and conscious of them when they occur.

In fairness for full disclosure, today’s strip was the result of following Wes Molebash’s Facebook wall last week. There was a brief conversation about Peter Gabriel’s awesomely classic “Sledgehammer” video and someone replied in the same thread that Peter should do a sequel and name it “Crowbar” – and hence, a strip was born!

Also, in the continued spirit of full disclosure, as I was drawing this strip, I got the inspiration of drawing Roy and Marc jogging directly from my memory of the scene in “When Harry Met Sally” where Billy Crystal and Rob Reiner are “speed walking” in Central Park – hence the spandex on Marc. And I couldn’t resist having Roy wear a fanny pack.
