Capes-n-Babes

If you’re a fan of “Major League”, you’ll recognize where I got the title for today’s strip from. And, if you just happened to have been trapped under a huge boulder for the last generation or so, then you might not get this joke (or the character in the last panel).

For those that MIGHT have been trapped under that boulder, the character in the last panel is one of Maurice Sendak’s monsters from the children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are. Once I started coming up with this karaoke plotline, this joke almost immediately popped in to my head.

I had a lot of fun drawing that monster. Hope you all enjoy the color. I just figured Maurice deserved to have one his character given the full color spectrum treatment.
