Critical understanding…
This strip is a little late today because I slacked off a little bit by sharing the first part of my Sunday yesterday with my son and then later on, my daughter and I went to go see Transformers 2 and didn’t get home until real late last night.
My daughter and I had a great time enjoying a dinner at Johnny Rockets before the show. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much, we couldn’t even THINK about getting any popcorn, soda or Milk Duds (our favorite) for the movie. And, if you know me, you know how EXTREMELY rare that is!

As far as the movie goes, I enjoyed it quite a bit. It’s a popcorn summer movie so I try to keep that in mind when I see movies like the Transformers. But I will say this… I thought it was funnier and a lot more action-packed than the first one. It was also a little bit easier to figure out the fight scenes between the Transformers. I don’t know if that’s just ’cause I have gotten used to the first one and adjusted my vision to compensate for metal figures twirling in the air or if the movie crew got better at figuring out how to depict the fight scenes.
Anyway, we both enjoyed the movie.
