Beagle Fest & the VA Comic Con…
Yeah, that’s pretty much how I spent my weekend…
On Saturday, I spent the afternoon at a Beagle Fest in Manassas, Virginia where the only thing I ended up doing was the caricature/commission of that image on the left. But the event was only four hours and it was outdoors and beautiful all day so it wasn’t bad, all in all…
Then, on Sunday, I spent all day at the one day Virginia Comicon show in Richmond, Virginia. At that particular show, I drew a LOT of cartoon werewolves for tips, did a few caricature sketch cards – including a T-Rex wearing an Adam West Batman costume. Yes, you read that right… a T-Rex wearing an Adam West Batman Costume.
I’ll have to post that one later.
It must have been an Adam West theme going on because I also did an Adam West sketch cover, You see that sketch cover up on the right.
So yeah, it was a pretty wacky weekend.
