Capes-n-Babes

Yeah, yeah… today’s strip is just one big advertisement for where I will be this entire weekend – as I said it would be.

In fact, if you are in the Washington DC area, today (Friday) is a special “preview night” for Awesome Con. I’ll be setting up my table sometime after 12:00 noon tomorrow and, as you can see above, you’ll be able to find me at Table AA O-3. I will be sitting in between Steve Conley and Dawn Griffin.

As far as the thing about Cary Elwes goes…
Earlier this week, I re-worked a previous Minion Mash-up I did last year at Heroes Con of Cary Elwes’ Wesley character from Princess Bride and digitally colored it. I will have a limited number of available prints of this particular Minion mash-up so if you’re planning on meeting Cary Elwes, wouldn’t it be cool to buy a Wesley Minion Mash-up and maybe get him to sign it? Yeah, I thought so too.

Now, you’d still have to pay for his autograph but wouldn’t that be a cool combination to have? And Cary will be located an incredibly short distance from my table in the Media Guest section at table 360 so the opportunity is there for all you die-hard Princess Bride fans out there.

So, what else will I be selling at my table this weekend? How about the following:

I will draw a cartoon version of you on the front & the back has a special code you can apply to my online store that will give you a 15% “employee discount” upon check-out. How cool is that?

Caricature Sketch Cards
I will draw YOU as your favorite super hero, super villain or other pop culture character. Comes with a free hard protective sleeve and a magnet.

Sketch Covers
I will have my Loki Minion wrap-around over sketch cover, My Little Ponies as the Fantastic Four wrap-around cover and a Superman and Batman wrap-around sketch cover for sale. I will also have a large variety of blank sketch covers I will do on request. Each blank sketch cover request is $40 for the front. If you bring your own sketch cover, I will knock $5 off the price.

Sketch Cards
All sketch cards come with a free, hard protective sleeve.

Be drawn as a cartoon werewolf
I do 9×6″ Sharpie sketches of what you would look like if you were a cartoon werewolf in Capes & Babes. I do these strictly for tips.

All three volumes of Capes & Babes books
Each book is $15. All three are $35. Each book gets a free sketch on a specially created interior page.

Commissions
I will also be accepting commissions. Prices are $60 this year for a full color, 9×12″ marker rendering – BUT the humor is STILL 100% FREE!
