Capes-n-Babes

As I was driving down to Charlotte, North Carolina for Heroes Con 2008 this past summer, I drive down there with my good friend Rob who is a fantastic writer. During the first couple of hours into the trip, he helped me flesh out Marc’s character a lot more then I had previously envisioned.

It was during this trip that we decided that Marc was a professional musician – or at least he used to be one. That’s how he was able to set up the Video Podcast set in the back of Capes & Babes because he basically still had all of his audio and video gear he used to use when he was a musician.

So, as I was trying to figure out a way to solve the huge misunderstanding he was having with Sam, it occurred to me that in one of his many gigs, Marc would have been a bass player for higher – helping to back up various bands as they went on tour. Almost immediately, the thought of him touring with Steppenwolf came to mind. And naturally, in the crazy world of Capes & Babes, all the members of MY version of Steppenwolf would be… well, werewolves.

And Sam’s favorite band.

Here’s to a happy Labor Day for all and all the best wishes and safe prayers for those that live in the New Orleans area and are currently retreating away from the current hurricane situation down there. Hopefully, everyone has now left the area…
