#977 – Partners…
As I posted earlier Thursday evening before I started this cartoon, since Monday’s strip featured Matt Slay (aka Matt Slayer) and Wednesday’s strip featured his wife, Arielle, I thought a perfect Friday strip would be to feature BOTH of them.
With that in mind, I could think of no other title that would be more appropriate than today’s title, “Partners”.
Again, I want to thank Matt and Arielle for being terrific sports and I hope their appearances in Capes & babes was a lot of fun for them. I know it was a lot of fun for me to draw these three strips and I hope that showed.

Where I am this weekend…
Since the second week of April and for most of May, I have had some kind of show or appearance scheduled every single weekend. So, that begs the question… where will I be THIS weekend?
Well, I am finally through with appearances until the very end of May. And I’m glad too because I still have three remaining commissions I need to complete – two from Awesome Con and one from the Beagle Fest show I attended one Saturday. Those will be complete when I return this weekend from Virginia Beach.
For those that haven’t read this blog before, every Mother’s Day weekend, my family travels to Virginia Beach to participate in the Little League Challenger’s Jamboree. Well, this year is no different. The games are a lot of fun and maybe… just maybe… I might be able to catch a break in the form of a little nap here or there.
One thing is for sure… it will actually be kind of nice to take a break from doing any kind of drawing this weekend. That’s for sure!
