Usually, when it comes to the strip and the blogs I write for each strip, I try not to overly write descriptive posts about the strip but today is a bit different. I thought I’d mention a couple of things that you all might find interesting.

For one, due to the small size of the strip, you might be wondering what is on Mac Suckerboy’s shirt in the second panel. Well, his shirt says: “I Don’t Sparkle B****!”.

Second, the color of the stage curtains is purposely similar to Facebook’s blue. I figured if I was an internet company trying to make a name for myself, I might be egotistical enough to make curtains the same color as my main competitor’s – and I would hang my logo in front of it – just to add to the very, very subtle insult.

And speaking of the Fangbook logo, I also wanted something that reminded people of the Facebook logo (white, lowercase letters) but still was different enough that it was completely unique. I had originally created the logo with a font that was eerily identical to Facebook but that just didn’t seem to feel right, so I went with this fatter looking font. Some day – or maybe in the thrid book – I might include all the iterations of the Fangbook logo I went through before deciding on this one.

And yes, that’s dripping
