After Josh’s terrific guest strip on Monday, you didn’t think Roy would just let dead dogs lie, did you???
All kidding aside, I want to thank Josh for being such a great sport about letting me put him in my strip. I’m very fortunate as a great deal of my friends who have asked to be in Capes & Babes always seem to have a great sense of humor about themselves whenever I turn them in to cartoon creations.
I’m also thinking about starting up a new service as my friend Krishna does for his PC Weenies strip. If you’re interested in appearing in cartoon form, I’m thinking about offering a service where people can pay me $10 via Paypal and can be a “guest star” in the strip. This would be different than just appearing in the background somewhere. You would be the center of the storyline (as Josh has been in the last two strips). All you would need to do is send me a picture of yourself, what comics and interests you have (so I can come up with a gag for that) and a request of which Capes and Babes character you would like to be in the strip with.
If you’re interested in this, drop me a message in the comment section and I’ll start thinking up more concrete guidelines and maybe make it its own section on this site.
