644 – Ghost Favors…
For the record, I have seen RESCUE ME but I missed the premiere of A GIFTED MAN but in my mind, once I heard the premise of Gifted Man, I thought it would be odd that another TV show would basically do what Rescue Me did a lot in their first season. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Rescue Me so I wasn’t exactly sure if Denis Leary’s character still saw and talked to the ghost of his best friend.
Still, I gotta agree with Roy… seeing those two ghosts hook up in one episode would be really funny. Maybe Jennifer Love Hewitt could play matchmaker…
Thank you Annapolis Comic Con…
Before I sign off this evening, I just wanted to give a really big shout out to everyone who came out and attended the very first Annapolis Comic Con – and bought almost all of my remaining You Can’t Print Flick and You STILL Can’t Print Flick books. I will have more the next time you see me but it was still a great response you gave me and the show.
Ben Penrod put together one heck of a one-day show and treated all the artists and venders with great care… feeding us and making sure we were well taken care of. And the response for a small, first-time, one-day show was absolutely FANTASTIC! The turn out for the costume contest was even more amazing.
So thanks, Annapolis, for treating me and Capes & Babes so well. We will definitely be back!
But one last thing (okay, I lied)…
This is still a ways away but as I have learned from the second book, it’s never TOO EARLY to plan… what the heck am I talking about? Well, as it turns out, I now have enough strips to start thinking about putting together a THIRD BOOK. The problem is… I don’t have a title.
I know I want to keep it in the “You Can’t Print Flick” theme but nothing thus far is appealing to me yet – and that makes coming up with a cover even more difficult. If you guys have some suggestions or ideas, I’m all ears. Also, for everyone who has bought my first two books… is there something new you would like me to add to this third book? More “how to’s? More character sketches? A detailed floor plan of the Capes & Babes store?
Again, this project probably won’t start to get off the ground until January sometime but it’s never too early to start thinking about this. So, add your ideas or suggestions in the comment section and who knows, maybe YOUR suggestion will wind up being part of book three…
