642 – Color Him Bad…
Usually, with most comic strips, it’s a tradition to make a flashback scene be in black and white. Well, I thought “why not turn the tables on that ‘tradition’ – especially seeing as my strip is black and white'”. Hope you all like the effect.
For the record, that is Dawn Griffin and my fake arch-nemesis, Ben “Tovias” McCormick in that colored panel. If you haven’t figured it out yet, Ben is in the Star Trek uniform and Dawn is wearing something she probably would never wear… pink.
I will be in Annapolis, MD this Sunday…
For those of you in the Maryland area, I will be in Annapolis, MD on Sunday for the VERY FIRST Annapolis Con – a one day show from 10 – 4pm. I will be selling You Can’t Print Flick and You STILL Can’t Print Flick. If you’re interested in getting a copy of the second book, you need to get to the show early as I only have a limited amount of books available due to an overwhelming response at Intervention Con last weekend.
I have plenty of copies of the first book but if you want the second book, make sure you get there early. I will also be doing commissions and sketch cards as well so I look forward to seeing everyone there. Besides, what else are you going to do on Sunday? The Cowboys and ‘Skins play on Monday night…
