Capes-n-Babes

So, after 1,033 strips, I finally drew myself in a Capes & Babes strip.

I have drawn myself on the first three covers of the first four collections I put together but this is the first time I actually drew myself in the strip. And, in case you’re wondering, that is me in the third panel wearing a baseball hat and sitting beside a drawing table.

A lot of people like to think Marc is actually me but there are quite a few differences between Marc and I – not only in personality but also in appearance. For one, I have gone the “way of the blade” and totally shaved my head like Marc has. I also haven’t pierced any of my ears like Marc has (must be the musician in him) and my goatee is a lot more scruffier and grayer than Marc’s as well. Plus, for those that have seen me at conventions, you know it’s QUITE common to find me wearing a baseball hat where Marc has never work one.

So yeah… I’m not Marc and Marc ain’t me – as the saying goes.  🙂
