I used to do a little feature on this blog that I called “Werewolf Wednesday” where I would feature anything related to werewolves. Well, even though I know it’s not Wednesday, I thought I would mention a movie I came across during the early part of this summer. As the movie poster says, the name of the movie is called Wolves.

Now, I’m not going to sit here and claim it’s the best werewolf movie ever made but what I will tell you is that I LOVED the make-up/special effects of this movie because the wolves in THIS movie aren’t cheesy, overgrown, CGI wolves. They are actual werewolf hybrids that stand and talk… sort of in the same vein as the Underworld werewolves but you can tell the make-up/special effects for these wolves are all old school – and they are done really, really well.

So, if you’re tired of CGI werewolves and want to see some terrific “old school” werewolf make-up effects, you should really check this movie out.

Plus, it has Jason Momoa in it as well!
