Capes-n-Babes

Okay folks… I’m not going to sit here and tell you that I’m back on the saddle again and ready to crank out strips three times a week again. The truth of the matter is that this one strip took me a LONG time tonight to get up on the site. Drawing, inking and writing it was easy enough but as it turns out, it took me quite a while to remember all the short hand tricks I used to be able to do to crank these strips out every week.

I forgot how much time it actually took.

But the real truth is that this is very much like getting back into the gym after a very lengthy time off. I have to gradually build up to preparing mentally and physically for what it takes to create these strips each night. Those of us that create strips and other online content know what I am talking about. So, instead of making a bunch of promises, I am simply going to see what happens.

This storyline hasn’t even begun, really, so I absolutely want to finish it for sure. In any case, if you’re wondering, the little aliens in today’s strip actually play a pretty vital role to this Hiatus story arc I started at the very beginning of the year.
