781 – Power of Love…
This is probably going to be a very short blog post as I’m pretty tired. Why am I tired? Well, it’s for really good reasons, actually. Recently, I have had a slew of commission requests come my way that I have to get done before the Baltimore Comic Con. Oh yes, by the way, I’ll be there September 8th and 9th sitting right beside one of my Webcomic Alliance partners in crime, Dawn Griffin!
Before all of that though, I need to take a moment a give out some werewolf howls to members of the Werewolf Pack…
First, Rainey… I haven’t forgotten about you.
Rainey gave me a nice little pencil guest strip at Allentown but I have been too busy to scan it in and post it here on the blog. I’ll try to do the on Friday.
Second… Dave Wilson will be next week’s Werewolf Wednesday volunteer.
Dave, just got a little too busy the last couple of nights to have time to draw you as a werewolf. But I’ll get to you next week.
Now, why have I been a bit busy? Well because of the following:
First is a caricature avatar of Scott Valentine – a Community MX contributor and
a former character in my Community MX cartoon strip, CMX Suite”:
Second is a commission Dave Wilson wanted of Roy as The Atom. I added the other two guys…
Next is the piece I did for Stacy Korn and Comic Fusion for Wonder Woman Day – which I will be aton October 6th and 7th:
And another one I did for a long time family friend that I haven’t seen in a long, long time.
How log? I coached Jessica’s older brother WHEN HE WAS IN LITTLE LEAGUE!!!
This is Jessica’s DC Universe online character:
BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE!
Still in my commission cue are:
- Two commissions from James Rowe – A Thanos Minion and another one I can’t mention
- Another commission from a former co-worker of mine as a present for a very special event (again, something I can’t say just yet)
- And two more caricature commissions for Christmas presents
So yeah… I’ve been a pretty little busy bee the last couple of days. So I’m calling it a night and heading to bed.
